Universal Swim for Hope

Join the Universal Swim for Hope - raise awareness about drowning prevention and raise funds for swimming lesson scholarships. 

We will swim for the whole month of July - set your goal high!  When you register, you'll get access to your very own fundraising page. Ask your network to sponsor you by donating to your page, and have the opportunity to win prizes plus the joy of giving life-saving swimming lessons to children across the country who otherwise might not be able to afford them.  There will be some surprise incentives and chances to get donations matched along the way!

Hope Floats Foundation partners with swim schools nationwide to provide scholarships for high-quality swimming lessons and water safety education.  There is more need than ever now as families struggle financially and children fight to make up for missed opportunities during the pandemic. Help us ensure that we can fund every qualified scholarship request that comes our way and put systems in place to do so for years to come! (Please note Universal Swim for Hope funds will be part of the Hope Floats general fund, and not designated to specific swim schools.  If you'd like to be connected with a specific swim school in your area, let us know!) 

This event is entirely virtual.  (Well, the swimming will happen in reality... we just won't all be there together!) You choose when, where, and how much you swim. All we ask is that: A) you challenge yourself, B) ensure proper safety measures are in place wherever you swim, and C) spread the word about how important swimming lessons are so we can raise more money to fund more scholarships.
