Sunday, September 7th: Last day to pre-order for t-shirt size guarantee. (After that- as available)

Saturday, September 27th: Pre-registration pickup (9:00am - 12:00pm) at Bigelow Tea: 201 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield, CT 06825. 

Sunday, September 28th: Event day! 

Location: Wakeman's Boys and Girls Club: 385 Center St Southport, CT 06890

• 8:00am: Pre-registration pickup opens - Online registration continues

• 9:00am: Kids' Fun Run begins

• 10:10am: 5K Run & 3K Walk begin

• 10:30am: Enjoy delicious snacks & adult hydration! 

• 11:00am: Awards/Raffle begin   **You must be present to win!**

Please note: This is a rain or shine event! **Due to the charitable nature of this event, NO REFUNDS will be issued. **

Event Information:

5K Run: This is a computer chip timed 5k event. Awards will be given to the overall men's and women's champions.

Age group awards three deep for 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

3K Fitness Walk: Walk at your own pace on a non-competitive course. This event is NOT computer-timed. There are no awards for this walk.

          $35.00: first 250 registrants

          $38.00: registrants 251+

          $40.00: day of the race

• AGE-BASED PRICING 18 and under (5k and 3k only)
  • $30.00 through 9/29/2024 

Kids' Fun Run: **Kids 10 and under** 100-yard Scamper, 1-mile jog, and an obstacle course. Kids will enjoy awards, snacks, and fun activities!

These events are not timed.

Virtual Event Options: Follow along with the event @bigelowtea. We encourage you to share your training photos/videos and your day-of run on social media using the hashtag #BigTeaCC to stay connected! The virtual option is NOT computer-timed. There are no awards.

          5k Virtual Run and 3k Virtual Walk: $30
          Kids' Fun Run (10 and under): $15 

*If you cannot pick up your shirt and/or giveaway shipping will be: ($5 for shirt, $5 for the goodie bag, $10 for both).
