PRE REG PICKUP IS AVAILABLE ON THURSDAY MORNING 7am to 8:15 race start
The 16th Turkey Day Trot has become one of the largest of its kind in the area. From its humble start with under 100 people in Stratford Center sixteen years ago - our event has grown each year to over 1000 people. The very flat and fast course has attracted runners and walkers from the four corners of CT, New England & beyond.
Sorry we will need to close t-shirt sizing options - we had to order shirts, get them delivered and printed by Monday! But if you register RIGHT NOW and get to pre reg pickup EARLY ON TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY then you'll likely get a shirt. We ordered 1000+ shirts but we didn't know your size if you didn't pre reg by 11/16! That's why registering early reduces stress and inflammation !
Your course starts in the center district on Main St. and runs down E. Broadway. You'll take a right on Elm & run thru the historic section of town. From here it's a straight shot on the quiet Elm St, Youll do a quick turn around to get the water table and then back to the finish. Before you get back downtown you'll run a loop around the famous Shakespeare Theatre along the Housatonic River! Enjoy our family friendly run (or you can walk!), chip timing, post race food, fluids & great T-shirt.
THERE IS NO REGISTRATION ON RACE DAY. WE CLOSE REGISTRATION AT 1200 participants - DON'T GET SHUT OUT.
