We are thrilled to be hosting the third edition of our Lordship - Short Beach community event. In 2020 it was the first running event in town after restrictions were lifted. Over 160 people enjoyed a safe, modified run. Last year we had 191. This year we plan to go over that number! Don’t get shut out. We will limit this to 350 runners.
With the cooperation of our Stratford town departments we will host this event from our scenic Short Beach in Stratford CT, Saturday, Aug. 6th.
*We will have protocols in place for safety, and will follow all best practices as set forth by our town and state.
This event is limited to 350 people.
*We are counting on you to help follow all safety procedures on your end so that we can have a very successful event, and do this again with the town's approval!
ALL ABILITIES ARE ENCOURAGED. You can run or walk this 5K (3.1mi) course. Everyone that enters is part of our computer-timed event & eligible for awards. If you chose NOT to be timed please let us know when you pick up your bib.
The Short Beach Run does not offer a shorter walk option.
Instead if you’d like to walk, the “WALK LIKE MADD” follows the 5K at 10 am as a separate event. Information & details: https://www.walklikemadd.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.event&eventID=1321
We truly appreciate the support given to us by the Stratford Town Departments. We could not host this event without our friends from the town of Stratford-
RECREATION, HEALTH, EMS, POLICE, FIRE & DPW
PLEASE NOTE - this 5K event is NOT the MADD DASH. This is the third year for the event designed and owned by MS Running Productions. This year our primary charity partner is MADD CT which will use donations to help them with their programs.
