Join us on Saturday, September 28, 2019 for our eighth annual Tommy Mac 5K run and Jay Walk. Proceeds from this year's event will be dedicated to the Connecticut Firefighters Charitable Foundations programs of interest.
Our 5K run and 5K(3.1mi) Jay Walk (both timed events) run through the picturesque Lordship section of Stratford, CT. We also offer a shorter one mile untimed walk for those who’d like to get back to our great food even faster! This one mile option is a perfect distance for families and strollers. Our courses are flat and feature great views of Long Island Sound. Our free Kids Fun Run takes place on the field next to the firehouse. It is designed for 12 year olds and under only, please.
Your run or walk starts and ends at the Stratford Fire Department - Company Three on Prospect Drive in the Lordship section of Stratford. The 5K course runs from the "Firehouse to the Lighthouse" and back on our fast, flat and very scenic shoreline course.
After you’re done you’ll be treated to a terrific buffet of food sponsored by the Windmill Restaurant. Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, pizza, fruit & more will be available for all paid participants. In addition there will be beer for those 21 and over, only.
Pre registration ($28 for 19 & over/$18 for 18 & under) by Sept 20 will guarantee a shirt size. After that date it will be 'as available' so join us now and get it done!
