Description
The Great Pumpkin Classic has been a premier running event in CT since 1991. Started by a THS Biology Teacher & avid runner Marty Schaivone, the race has hosted many running legends including Bill Rodgers, Greg Meyers, Olympians & International stars. The Great Pumpkin 5k features a great neighborhood course, terrific post race food, and outstanding long sleeved T-shirts. The Pumpkin Classic also hosts a 2 mile walk and Kids Fun Runs of varying distances for all abilities on the Trumbull High track. The race is now bib-chip timed and there is enough parking for over 1000 runners. Even though our costs have gone up we have tried to keep our pricing Family Friendly. Kids 18 & under are only $15. "Kids at Heart" 70 & over are FREE! And the standard adult donation is just $23. Bring the family, friends or even complete strangers! We will be ready to help you have a fabulous day.
Race day reg available for Kids Races for $10 at the Trumbull High Track starting at 8am.
