Virtual 5K for the Troops and the Kids

The Ulbrich Boys & Girls Club and Torch Club will be hosting its FIRST EVER 5K event starting this Veteran's Day on November 11th! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to make the event virtual to protect the safety of our participants. 

Run, walk, or even bike your 5K from anywhere of your choosing! Simply track your distance using a free app on your phone (Map My Run, Map My Ride, Runkeeper, etc.) and get moving! Post your times and running pictures (optional) to our Facebook page using the hashtag #UBGC5K

Torch Club is a chartered, small-group character and leadership club for middle school boys and girls. Torch Club gives young people the opportunity to develop and strengthen their leadership skills. Torch Club includes four focus areas: service to Club and community; education; health and fitness; and social recreation. Proceeds will be used for Torch Club's program and services.

In honor of Veteran's Day, Torch Club has decided to donate a portion of its proceeds to a veterans organization! There will be no winner for this event. Instead, lets all make an effort to give back to the community, help those in need, and engage in a fun, physical challenge!

Registration Fee (includes a chance at a raffle prize)

• $25 per adult
• $15 per child (17 or under)
• $60 per family (up to 5)

The first 100 people to register will receive an event t-shirt. Sign up as soon as possible!

Giveaways:

• 1 randomly selected raffle prize will be given out for each age group (must be registered in correct age group to qualify)

*PLEASE NOTE: DONATION OPTION IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO WOULD NOT LIKE TO PARTICPATE IN THIS EVENT.
