Where do I park?
Free parking is available throughout the Palm Desert Civic Center Park. Arrive early for best selection!
What is the schedule for the day?
Dance Warm-Up w/ High Hopes Dance Troupe: 8:50 am - 9:10 am
Walker Check-In/Registration Time: 9:00 am
Resource Fair, Entertainment & Activities Start: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Welcome Message (approx.): 9:50 am
Walk Begins (approx.): 10:00 am
Raffle & Silent Auction: Ongoing (Silent Auction ends at 11:45 am)
Event Ends: 12:00 pm
Where do I register/check-in?
If you Pre-Registered Online, when you arrive, make sure to check-in at the PRE-REGISTRATION tent next to the Amphitheater. Don't forget ALL Paid Registrations receive a FREE official 2020 Autism Walk t-shirt while supplies last! You must check-in at the event to receive your t-shirt. *NEW this year - We will have EARLY Packet Pick-up a few days before the Walk on April 9th. Time to be announced soon.
Onsite Registration will begin at approximately 9:00 am on the day of the Walk on April 11th next to the Amphitheater.
Can I bring donations?
YES! If you have received any donations you can bring them with you to the event and we will make sure they get added to your fundraising total. Checks are preferred, but cash is accepted. Please note: Donations can be made online anytime.
Where will I be walking?
This year's event will be held at the beautiful Palm Desert Civic Center Park Amphitheater. See Park Map below. The walk route is wheelchair and stroller-friendly.
What should I bring?
It will be warm and their is limited seating. Some items to bring include hats, sunscreen, umbrellas, wagons, blankets, and lawn chairs.
Will you have merchandise for sale?
Yes! CVASA will be bringing some Autism Awareness Merchandise to sell. Stop by to purchase wristbands, t-shirts, Car Magnets, Lanyards, and more! Cash and credit accepted. All purchases support CVASA's programs and services.
Will snacks/water be provided?
Yes. Water and light refreshments (i.e. fruit, granola bard, etc.) will be provided at NO COST while supplies last. Additionally, we will have food and ice cream for sale at the Walk. Proceeds from food sales to benefit CVASA programs and services.
