Can I pick up a race packet for someone else?
Yes. However, please ensure that the person is aware that you are picking up their packet. This is so they don’t show up looking for their packet, only to find out someone picked it up for them without their knowledge.
Where should I park?
Parking is available at Cape View Elementary. Volunteers will be assisting with parking and will advise drivers to use Washington Avenue to get to the race. Area Map
Are runners allowed to wear headphones?
The course is open to local traffic and residents, so for safety reasons, we ask participants not to wear headphones. This is extremely important as volunteers may be trying to give you information, but you may not be able to hear them. If you must wear headphones, please be sure to have one out of your ears at all times.
Are leashed dogs permitted?
Yes, however, we kindly ask that you keep your dog on a short leash and stay mindful of other participants. If you're running with your dog, please keep to the far right near the curb so others may pass safely.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes, however, we ask that you run to the far right of the track to allow other runners to pass safely.
Is the Reindeer Run a Cupless Race?
Yes! To make this event more sustainable and environmentally friendly, pre-filled cups will NOT be provided at water stations. Please be sure to bring a collapsible cup, hydration vest, refillable water bottle, cocoa chalice, mistletoe mug, or other fun, festive drinking vessel
