This thrilling one-mile journey begins in front of the State Capitol. Participants will run down Jefferson Street, turning left on 11th Street. Participants will head back on Bannock Street before turning left onto 4th Street, then left on Jefferson Street, and then returning to Cecil D Andrus Park.

Due to construction on Capitol Blvd. we have changed our classic course. This new, safer, one mile run will allow parents to bring their child to the start line, directly in front of the Capitol building, and watch them finish! Experience your kids joy with them as they run through Downtown Boise, starting and finishing at the Idaho State Capitol Building.

The Capitol Classic encourages kids with all abilities to participate. There is an adaptive course for kids with physical or mental disabilities that starts at 11:00am. Kids will start at the Bannock St & Capitol Blvd intersection, turn left on 6th St, go left on Jefferson St., and then back into Cecil D. Andrus Park.
