Packet pick‑up will take place at the Christopher Newport University Alumni House on Saturday, April 10th from 3–7 p.m.
For security and accuracy, each runner must pick up their own race packet.

The course will feature clear signage throughout to help runners on the right path, including directional markers, colored flags and ribbons, and a few well-placed traffic cones. Along the way, various student groups and organzations will be cheering for all participates, bringing the vibrant campus spirit to life. Go Captains! 

Pets are not permitted on the race course or the post‑race field to ensure the safety of participants, spectators, and the animals.

ADA‑recognized service animals are welcome on course, and runners planning to participate with a service animal are asked to email us at cnucaptains5k@gmail.com.

Parking for the event will be available in the Ferguson Parking Garage, located just off the Avenue of the Arts entrance to main campus. After parking, participants will take a short walk to the Christopher Newport University Alumni House, where the races will begin. There is no parking at the start line, so we ask all participants to follow the designated parking plan.
