We have created a number of sample test challenges to help spark your own creativity. Feel free to copy our examples! You can sign up for most of these and try entering your own activities.
Distance Challenge - This is just a simple 200 mile challenge with a map from the south of New Jersey to the north. We created the map in MapMyRun, and simply exported the map in KML format, and then imported it in the Goal setup as explained in this blog.
Triathlon Challenge - This sample shows how a to set up a triathlon challenge. Participants can do any number of miles of swimming, cycling or running to accumulate up to 288 miles. There are other ways to set this up to limit how many miles are done in each activity. We have written up a detailed blog that explains how to set up a multi-activity event like Triathlons.
Race Car Lap Example - In this example, we show how to set up a lap type challenge. The key is to set the tally type to number of laps and to set how many meters are in a lap. Then you wills et up the goal to simply be the number of laps, and participants can enter their activity in laps or miles or kilometers.
Cycling Example - This example shows how to use custom fields to accumulate miles ridden as well as total vertical feet.
Virtual Dog Jog - This one shows how to use Cover pages, as well as the total miles and catnaps (scroll down the cover page some to see the totals across all participants). Catnaps show a creative way to use a custom activity - in this case to measure the number of hours taking a catnap.
