The Georgetown Police Department is partnering with our community for the 12th Annual Chase The Chief 5K, Family Fun Run & Chief's Challenge!
On Sunday, March 3, 2024, at the East View High School athletic fields, thousands of students and families will join Georgetown Police Chief Cory Tchida for a day of fitness, fun, and fellowship.
In addition to inspiring lifelong fitness, Chase the Chief provides invaluable opportunities for students and families to interact with police officers in a relaxed and friendly setting. GPD officers are visiting Georgetown area schools throughout the year to run with students and build excitement for the event. We are asking our community for help in putting on this event. Last year's Chase the Chief sponsorships and registrations resulted in $23,500 that were directly distributed to Georgetown area schools' PE departments for the coaches to purchase sports and recreational equipment and supplies.
