About Natural Lands
ChesLen Preserve is one of 40+ nature preserves cared for by Natural Lands, our region's oldest and largest non-profit land trust. Natural Lands is committed to saving open space, caring for nature, and connecting people to the outdoors in eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. We’ve been at it since the early 1950s and, today, more than 5 million people live within five miles of lands under our permanent protection. But there is still so much to do.
Nature is under threat, and while we need places to live, work, and shop, we also need the countless benefits that nature provides. Our region’s clear air, fresh water, and vibrant natural landscapes are some of its greatest resources—and that’s why we're inviting you to run or walk and help raise funds for open space preservation.
