Is this a "Live" race event?
Yes this is a "Live" event and all runners competing in the 10k, 5k and both challenges will have chip timing. (Participants doing only the one mile will not be timed.)
At this time we are planning to host a live race on February 6, 2021. We are continuing to monitor and will follow CDC Local and state Guidelines. If anything changes we will update this registration page and email pre-registered runners. (If CDC local and state, guidelines do not allow us to hosts a live event, all registrations will switch over to a virtual option and you will still receive your race packet items)
Can we register Day of Race on February 6, 2021?
Yes, you can register for the 10k, 5k and 1 mile fun run on race day, however, you will not be able to register for any of the challenges. It is encouraged that you preregister. We will be avoiding long lines and congestion points set up by the CDC Local and State COVID guidelines. Also there may not be shirts available closer to or on race day.
Prices will increase by $10 for day of registration:
- 10k: $45
- 5k: $35
- 1 Mile: $25
When and where can I get my packet?
Race day packet pickup starts at 6:00AM
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, someone else can pick up your packet at packet pick up. If someone else is picking up, we will need some type of identification and your email confirmation number, so please make sure they have this when they come to pick your bib up.
What happens if there is bad weather on race day?
This race will be held rain or shine. In times of dangerous weather, like a hurricane, event will be transitioned to a virtual race. Registered participants will still receive their race packets. There will be no refunds.
What happens if the race is switched to Virtual?
Every attempt will be made to host a live event. If CDC local and state guidelines or weather prevent us from holding a live race, all registrations will be turned in to a virtual option. We will still hold the race packet pick up in person on the scheduled dates. If you were registered as live race registrant, and cannot make it to any of the race packet pickup places, times and dates, arrangements can be made to pick up or have your packet mailed for an addition charge (Approx. $7.00 for shipping and handling)
