Coronavirus Safety Protocols
The health and safety of our participants is a top priority for iFIT and DICK’S Sporting Goods. We have implemented health and safety measures designed to ensure a safe race weekend experience for all participants, staff, vendors, and spectators. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a proof of a negative COVID-19 test result is required prior to entry for all participants entering the start line area.
Participants under the age of 12 will not be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result, but will be required to have their temperature checked. Status/temperature checks are required at packet pick up.
Face coverings are recommended in the start area for spectators, participants, and staff.
Consistent with CDC guidelines, all spectators, participants, and staff are also encouraged to practice hand hygiene and “social distancing” to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19.
Spectators, participants, and staff, who as of the date of the event or within the prior ten days have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others, should not attend.
Those uncomfortable or unable to comply with these COVID-19 safety protocols on race day are warmly invited to participate in the virtual Commit To Fit 5K. Learn more about the virtual option here.
Vaccination and Covid test status
Participants 12 and over must show proof of full and up-to-date vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test results dated no more than 72 hours prior to the start of the Commit to Fit 5K. Participants must also bring a government-issued photo ID.
