President's Cup Challenge
Participants have the opportunity to join a team in conjunction with the Community Bridges 5K Run/Walk. These teams are an opportunity to foster friendly competition; there are categories for UVA students, faculty, staff, and community members.
All UVA students who sign up for the Community Bridges 5K have the opportunity to register with their School as well as a Greek Organization or Dorm Association, if applicable. The groups with the highest participation rate in their respective category will receive special recognition following the 5K. The School with the most student participation will also receive special recognition.
There is also an opportunity for community members to create and register “Community” teams. For example, if you are a member of the Charlottesville Track Club, the Fifeville Neighborhood or Habitat for Humanity, you can create a team and encourage others to register. Teams who raise the most for the CNE and member nonprofits will receive recognition.
Faculty and staff at the University of Virginia can join their respective department or unit and compete for the highest participation rate and for the most raised for the CNE and its member nonprofits. These winners will also receive special recognition.
