DEFERRALS
HOW TO ENABLE DEFERRALS IN YOUR RACE:

- Go to Participants>>Participant Management>>Deferrals
- Click the option to Allow Deferrals
- Select YES next to "Allow Second Year Deferrals"
- Select YES next to "Allow $0 Deferrals" - this will allow offline registrations or those that paid with a 100% coupon code to defer their registration
- If you are charging a deferral fee (we recommend against this for this situation) enter the see
- Set a Cut-off date
- Click SAVE SETTINGS
HOW DO REGISTRANTS DEFER THEIR REGISTRATION:

- This MUST BE COMPLETED by the person that completed the registration
- Log into RunSignup
- Go to Profile>>Upcoming Events>>Manage Registration
- Click DEFER REGISTRATION
- On the Defer Registration page, you will be shown your Deferral Information and Total Payment. Please confirm the information is correct and accurate. You can confirm deferral by clicking on the "Confirm Deferral" button.
HOW DO YOU COMMUNICATE DEFERRALS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS?
- Come up with a lenient deferral policy
- Send an email to your registrants letting them know about the deferral option
- Provide registrants with the steps to complete the deferral
- Explain if there are any deferral fees and be very clear about the cut-off date
