Race Day
We are right around the corner from the 15th Annual Crossroads Trail Run and we're just as excited as you are!
Here are a few information points to help you prepare for the day:
- All race day activities are based at Crossroads at Big Creek's Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan St., Sturgeon Bay.
- Packet pick-up is on Friday, June 14th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Collins Learning Center and on Saturday, June 15th beginning at 6:30 am.
- At packet pick up, you will be notified if you won a door prize provided by Sturgeon Bay Utilities. All pre-registered participants are automatically entered into this drawing. Thank you, SBU!
- Start times will be staggered to alleviate bottlenecks on the the trail. 10k runners will begin from the Starting Line at 8:00 am, 5k will begin at approximately 8:07 am, and 2k will begin at approximately 8:10 am.
- Smile! Photos taken by Kathy Saladin, will be available on our website shortly after the run concludes.
- Chip-timing is provided by Tortoise & Hare Timing. Official times will be posted as runners finish and will be available on CrosroadsRun.com and tandhtiming.com.
- After the race: Be sure to bring home your native tree, courtesy of Evergreen Nursery! Also enjoy a post-run/walk cherry sundae, courtesy of Lautenbach's Orchard Country, and topped with Crossroads' homemade 'Crazy Good' granola!
Prizes
5K & 10K Men & Women Overall winners will each receive a piece of locally made pottery.
5K & 10K Age Division winners will receive:
1st Place: Local maple syrup from Henschel's Farm
2nd Place: Local honey from Door County Beekeepers Club & Mark Lentz
3rd Place: Locally made soap from Sweet Mountain Farm
Age Divisions: U9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Parking
A limited amount of race day parking will be available at Crossroads at Big Creek's Collins Learning Center parking lot, which will also serve as the starting line, finish line, and runner's concourse. Overflow parking is available across the roads in the Whitetails Unlimited parking lot, located at 2100 Michigan St. Please be respectful to our neighbors by only parking on the paved areas and not the grass!
