VIRTUAL | OCTOBER 1-24 | ANYWHERE
VIRTUAL CYCLISTS – KIDS, 12 MILES, 32 MILES, 62 MILES, OR 100 MILES – ANYWHERE
This is the option for you if you want to cycle one of our established distance goals in one session – but do it on your own time between October 1st – 24th. You can design your own course at one of these distances, or even ride one of the in-person courses on your own time! Virtual Cyclists can track their rides through our official Virtual Cyclists app, RaceJoy, and submit results through the app. Virtual Cyclists will have their packets and prizes mailed right to their doors, take part in our Cycle of Hope online community, and be invited to our Virtual Finish Line Celebration on October 24th!
VIRTUAL DIY– "YOUR WAY"– ANYWHERE
This is our most flexible option! As a Virtual DIY-er, you’ll participate when you like, any time between October 1st – 24th. You can also curate your own course at any distance you choose – whether you complete it on your bike, on foot, on an at-home trainer, or your own creative way! You can even work toward your distance goal in multiple sessions. Virtual participants will have their packets and prizes mailed right to their door, take part in our Cycle of Hope online community, and be invited to our Virtual Finish Line Celebration on October 24th!
Like Habitat for Humanity, Cycle of Hope runs on community. Housing impacts us all, and it takes all of us to change this crisis. Bring your friends and family along for the ride, and each rider who signs up to join you will earn a $100 donation for Habitat. By referring more riders, you’ll not only build more support for Habitat – you’ll have the chance to earn some sweet referral prizes, too!
The health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, and staff are Habitat’s top priority. Even as our communities re-open, we will have measures in place designed to keep everyone healthy. These include:
Cycle of Hope is true to its name – we are riding to help our neighbors create a feedback loop of promise. When you ride Cycle of Hope, you ride for Habitat for Humanity. You help families achieve affordable homeownership. You keep people in the homes they love. You educate and support those working toward financial wellness and better housing. You build paths out of homelessness. When you ride Cycle of Hope, you offer a hand up that helps families pull themselves out of a month-to-month struggle, a fear of displacement and substandard living conditions, and an unforgiving housing market. You create a foundation for families to invest in their futures, and build hope that reverberates for generations to come.
