Habitat for Humanity is a movement to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Cycle of Hope takes “movement” literally – by getting moving for a mission.

By riding Cycle of Hope, you're raising critical funds that build, repair, and advance equity in affordable housing. Since 2018, riders have raised $1.6 million for Habitat for Humanity's work!

About Habitat for Humanity 

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley has worked in communities throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, and Santa Clara Counties for nearly 40 years. Below are our main program areas. 

Homeownership 
Habitat brings homeownership within reach of families with limited incomes, selling homes through stable, affordable mortgages. We promote equity by increasing access to homeownership – along with the positive health, financial, and educational outcomes that are associated with homeownership – among families pushed to the margins of the housing market.

Home Preservation
Habitat supports homeowners with repairs and improvements that are out of their financial means. It’s an important tool in our toolbox, one that mitigates conditions that threaten homeowners’ health and safety, prevents displacement, beautifies communities, and holds on to the affordable housing we have. 

Housing and Financial Counseling
As a HUD-approved agency, Habitat empowers people with the skills and guidance to better their financial wellness and work toward their goals. Whether it’s purchasing their first home or balancing a household budget, our clients take charge of their financial lives and face the future with confidence.
