Multiple Challenge Distances
500 Mile Out and Back Course: Richmond to Philadelphia and back
250 Mile Point to Point: Richmond to Philadelphia
100 Mile Point to Point: Richmond to Washington, DC
50 Mile Point to Point: Richmond to Ashland, VA

Sign up between July 15 and August 15, then complete (and log) your mileage by Labor Day. 

Multiple Endurance Activities Encouraged
You can do pretty much any endurance activity to get your Kinetic I-95 Challenge miles in. Swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, mountain biking, road riding, zwifting, trail running, track workouts, hiking, walking, you name it!  Teams and individuals can break up the distance between activities and team members as you see fit. Get creative and explore some new back roads, stay disciplined and above all, get after it!    

Why the I-95 Challenge?
Interstate 95 runs from Key West, Florida to Maine for a total of 1,908 miles and it goes right through the middle of the Kinetic Multisports racing ecosystem. So, we figured just about everyone we race with has a love/hate relationship with this East Coast travel corridor. Plus, we get to brag about a few of our favorite workouts while learning about yours! 

The Swag
All athletes that register by August 15th will receive the following:

Race with Friends
Road trips and training are more fun with a carload of friends. So, sign up a few buddies, family members or co-workers and put in the miles together, while socially distant.

Race for Free!

Uploading Mileage & "Awards"
Log your mileage each week to our website and post photos, stories and routes to our Facebook, Instagram and Strava pages. We'll have results boards and maps set up so you can see monitor your progress and check in with your friends. Since this is a challenge and not an actual race, we are awarding the top 3 Instagram posts tagging the Kinetic I-95 Challenge with a super soft, custom beach towel, a Blue Seventy transition bag and Orca Killa 180 goggles from JustWetsuits.

Charity Support
Times are tough in the non-profit world and we need your help to support our series charities, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. $10 of every Kinetic I-95 Challenge entry fee from July 8 to August 15 will generate a $5 donation to each of these groups to support the work they do. We encourage you to make an additional donation or become a fundraiser during the registration process. Our top 3 fundraisers/donations will each get 3 complimentary entries into any of our 2021 races and our sincere thanks. Do good, get fit, everybody wins!
