Join CHCI for the 2026 Run to Lead Virtual Run/Walk 5K, taking place nationwide June 5 to 7, 2026. In its first-ever virtual format, this 5K gives supporters across the country the chance to come together wherever they are in celebration of movement, community, and purpose. By taking part, you will support CHCI’s mission of Developing the Next Generation of Latino Leaders® while joining a nationwide effort centered on health, connection, and positive change.
Whether you walk or run with friends, family, your children, or at your own pace, this event is about more than reaching the finish line. It is about showing up for your community, embracing well-being, and being part of something bigger than yourself.

Anytime and anywhere! The 2026 Run to Lead Virtual 5K Run/Walk can be completed in your own neighborhood, on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even on the treadmill. Sign up and get your friends to sign up too! 🏁

Register by May 8 to receive your T-Shirt in time for race weekend. Orders placed after this date are not guaranteed to arrive before the event.
HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR VIRTUAL RUN
This is a virtual race, which means you can complete your 5K on your own time and from any location during the event weekend.
- Register for the 2026 Run to Lead Virtual Run/Walk 5K and complete your 5K anytime, anywhere. Simply run or walk 3.1 miles at a time and place that works for you, your neighborhood, your favorite trail, or even on a treadmill!
- Track your run or walk using your preferred device, app, or timing method 📱⌚
- Submit your finish time through RunSignup after completing your 5K 📝
- View your results on the event leaderboard 📊
- Receive your official Run to Lead Virtual Run/Walk 5K shirt, finisher medal, and race bib (packages will ship after May 18th)
Participants will be ranked based on finish times, with results displayed overall and by age group and division.
This event operates on an honor system to encourage fun, flexibility, and community participation.
