Description

Nearly 1,000 runners completed the 5K in June 2023.  We will see you again next year to kick off Pride weekend!  Thank you for your joy and generosity!  Happy Pride.

This event was voted the Best 2022 LGBTQ Event (Washington Blade) so be sure to vote for us again this year!

Virtual 5K Result Submission (only applied to those registered for the Virtual 5K):

  1. Your Digital Bib: Go to your RunSignup Profile, click View Digital Bib, Print and proudly wear the bib to run/walk 3.1 miles. Be sure to take selfies and post on social media.
  2. Submit your result:  You can start submitting your result between June 5, 2023 (Monday) until June 17, 2023 (Sunday). You can run as many times as you want between 6/1 - 6/16/2023, but only submit your best result. We will use an honor system. However, the race director reserves the right to ask for verification of extraordinary submission. Every submission will overwrite the previous result. It is a 5K, so be sure to run 3.1 miles.

    2. Click here, then Look Up Registration, then submit result

Would you like to join the DC Front Runners?

DC Front Runners is a running, walking, and social club for LGBTQ people and their friends in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are open to all people regardless of race, pace, age, gender, sexual orientation, or athletic ability. Our group is very diverse with respect to speed, distance, and intensity, and we encourage and support all who participate. While membership is encouraged, you do not have to join to give us a try! 

Our club has almost 400 active members. In addition to our group runs and walks, we sponsor many social events so you can make new friends and join other members for dinner, happy hour, or other activities. Some activity reductions are in place during the local pandemic restrictions.
