Description
Enjoy a beautiful day on the C&O Canal while supporting Special Love, a Mid-Atlantic community of support for children with cancer and their families. Special Love sponsors week-long camps like Camp Fantastic (featured in The Washington Post Metro section and on WJLA ABC7) and weekend retreats that allow young cancer patients to feel like kids again. The race is Special Love’s only local sports fundraiser and we anticipate a sellout crowd of 300 runners.
Refreshments and prizes will be provided, as well as awards to top 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female finishers over all and 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female finishers by 10-year age group.
