Description
Georgetown University's Center for Social Justice is teaming up with community partner, Georgetown Ministry Center, to host the 4th annual Georgetown 5k Race Against Homelessness on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Join us in seeking lasting solutions to homelessness one person at a time by participating in our 2k walk or 5k race through Georgetown's historic campus. Afterwards, participants are invited to the Post-Race and Spring Fling Celebration, featuring local music, food, and family-friendly fun. This event will double as the post-race celebration, beginning at noon. If you cannot participate in the race, no problem. You are invited to purchase food tickets to the Post-Race and Spring Fling Celebration!
9:30 am - Registration opens
11:00 am - 2k walk and 5k race begin
12:00pm - Post- Race and Spring Fling Celebration with food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities
Registered walkers/runners will receive a swag bag, pre-race snacks, and access to food and activities at the Post-Race and Spring Fling Celebration afterwards.

FAQs
How much is registration?
Registration (until March 25, 2017): $15 for people 23 years and younger. $25 for people 24 years and up.
Day-of registration (March 26, 2017): registration increases by $5 for each age group ($20 and $30)
The age-based price should automatically be applied at checkout and is calculated based on the runner's age the day of the 5k race. Please contact Melisssa.Bernard@georgetown.edu with any issues.
What does the price of registration include?
The registration fee includes participation in the timed event and post-race festivities. Walkers/runners will receive a swag bag, pre-race snacks, one food tiket, and access to snacks and activities at the Post-Race and Spring Fling Celebration.
Where can I park?
Limited street parking is available in the neighborhoods surrounding Georgetown University. On Sundays, street parking is free. There is also parking available at the Southwest Quad Garage off of Canal Road.
