Description

The Class of 2022 Student Council invites you to participate in our Virtual Pink Fun Run! In light of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Student Council is raising donations for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. in support of bringing awareness to Breast Cancer.

What is "Virtual Running": Due to COVID-19 concerns, this event cannot be held as it normally would with a large group of people. To keep everyone safe, the event will be held "virtually" where participants will run individually (on their own time), instead of at a large event. While participating in this event please practice safety measures.

How it works:

1. Participants will have from October 10th to October 24th to run as many miles as they would like. For each mile ran, you will donate a set amount of money and have the option to log your miles on our leadership board. For example, every mile ran, a participant can donate $10 for each mile or whatever amount they choose. You can sponsor yourself or get an outside sponsor to donate to the race for you. The top participants with the most miles logged will receive a prize. Also, if you would like to donate and not participate in the run, then you are welcomed to do that! There is a $5 registration to be paid to CashApp: $HUSLco2022 and Venmo: @HUSLco2022.

2. Student Council will be collecting donations through our CashApp: $HUSLco2022 and Venmo: @HUSLco2022.

3. This race is open to all! Invite your family and friends to join! Use the hashtag #HUSLPinkFunRun on social media to keep up with the event!
