DUE TO THE RAPIDLY GROWING SIZE OF THE "MARCH FOR OUR LIVES" PRO-GUN SAFETY MARCH (scheduled for the same day, in the same part of town), RUN FOR A SMYAL HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Please join us for the inaugural "Run for a SMYAL 5K"! The TPF Stonewall Kickball team is proud to support SMYAL, an LGBTQ youth empowerment organization, with 100% of the profits from our inaugural 5K. The race will begin at the scenic Hains Point consisting of a loop around the East Potomac Park, along the Potomac River. Awards will be given for age groups and overall winners. SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders) supports and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region. Through youth leadership, SMYAL creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to build self-confidence, develop critical life skills, and engage their peers and community through service and advocacy.

Awards for fastest Overall and Age Groups for three gender groups: male, female and gender-neutral runners (please enter in the gender group as you identify).
