IFA Fall Tata Extravaganza

Come join us for a Virtual 5K and Beer/Wine tasting extravaganza.  We are doing the Nothing Scares Me 5K virtual run and TASTINGS FOR TATAS virtual tastings.  BTW...if you are near us (Delaware Beaches), you're welcome to join us for the tasting party in person.

Event schedule:

11-12pm: Real time 5K Using the Charge Running App

• IFA is raising funds this month to help The Tyanna Foundation & The National Breast Cancer Foundation, You can select who you want your donation to go to at the time you register.
• 10/24: Real Time (this will give you the sense of being at a live event) Virtual 5K (It's 2020, Nothing Scares me theme) Halloween or Oktoberfest attire encouraged. 

Where and How does it work?

- Since it is a virtual race, you can do it ANYWHERE – By using the Charge running app, it is like a live event, but you are charting your own course.

- There is a 2-week free trial so you can download the app and get familiar with it between now and the actual race date of 10/24/2020.

- You will receive a specific Run Code to enter into the app. This unique code will give you access to all the 5K content on race day.

More important information:

• Prior to the event start, you will be provided instructions on how to download the app for the 5k, we will ask that you try the app ahead of the event to ensure you understand how it functions and there are no glitches. The day of the event you will log into the event and then the virtual race will begin at the designated time. 
• We are also encouraging running clubs, teams and groups to have "running parties" where they can pick a course familiar to them and (following social distancing guidelines) run "together" enabled by the real time event app.  This will give us all the sense of togetherness that we have been missing.   Remember you don't have to run, walking is an option too.  Or, feel free to just donate on the registration site.
• Also included is an option to upload your pictures to our site to share your experience during the event.  The social media features also allow for real time messaging so everyone can send cheers of encouragement out to the racers. We will also be asking you to share how Breast Cancer has affected your life, your own personal experiences. 
• Awards will be awarded Virtually following the end of the 5K

BUT WAIT...THERE'S MORE!!! If you choose to join in both events.. we will give you a little time to unwind from the 5k 

Tastings for Tatas Schedule:

1-1:30 Wine tasting

1:30-2:00 Beer tasting

2:00 to 3:00 Live entertainment with site open to continue to collect donations

• As another fun aspect of this day, we are offering a second event, the TASTINGS for TATAS. ALL proceeds for this event will go to The Tyanna Foundation
• This is an OKTOBERFEST party (at your own place, or you can join in virtually at ours)
• The TASTINGS FOR TATAS, will coincide with the Oktoberfest themed Virtual Beer and Wine Tasting events with some cool acoustic performers for your enjoyment.  If you know anything about Oktoberfest, there are wine tents and beer tents..so we are hooking you up to be able to join us virtually and still support a good cause.
• We will provide you with all the information to be able to have an Oktoberfest party doing the tastings remotely. You will be provided shopping lists, tasting sheets, links to our virtual meeting room for the instructor-led tastings and information to organize your home event. We will all do the tastings together, enjoy the day, and support a great cause.
• We have verified that the items that we are selecting for the tastings can be purchased most stores where beer and wine are sold so everyone can participate.
