Description
Come out and get healthy! Bring your whole family for a day of exercise and fun fall activities. Sign up for the Harvest Havoc Family Fun Walk, sponsored by the Delaware Division of Public Health and Killens Pond State Park. Option to walk 1-mile or 2-mile course. By registering, you also receive free entry into the park and the option to stay for Harvest Havoc!

Course Description
The Family Fun Walk will be held on the cross-country course at Killens Pond. Please note that this trail is mostly smooth/flat, but somewhat sandy and may be harder for wheelchairs/strollers, especially in the case of inclement weather. Anyone that plans to participate with a stroller or wheelchair should be cautious in the case of inclement weather.
Harvest Havoc
All participants are encouraged to stay after the Family Fun Walk for Harvest Havoc at Killens Pond. The following activities will be held:
Pumpkin Carving
- 1:00-2:00 pm
- Located on the campground pavilion
- Directions, tools and carving templates will be provided
- One (1) pumpkin per FAMILY is included with registration. Additional pumpkins can be purchased for $5.
"Harvest Havoc"
- 3:00-6:00 pm
- Located on the campground pavillion
- Gather up your family and friends and join us for some fun-for-all games and activities. We will take a hay-wagon shuttle to our harvest gathering location. Once there, we will have harvest- and fall-themed games, a take home craft, and apple cider.
- $6 per person (price not included in registration)
Hoot n' Howling Hike Night
- 8:00-9:30 pm
- Located at the campground Ampitheater
- Join us on the trails for a night hike and find out who is making all that noise in the forest after dark.
- $2 per person (price not included in registration)
