DESCRIPTION  Join the Seashore Striders as we host an event in honor of Darby & owner Fredman.  It is being called the "Faith & Animal Spirit" event where you can show up and support Humane Animal Partners (HAP) and honor your loved one with a 5k walk or run.  Whether your loved one is still with us or just a cherished memory, you can show your "Faith & Animal" Spirit by taking a piece of your loved one and carrying them in your heart by being a better person than you were yesterday.  Join us for this special event!

RACE LOCATION:  Cape Henlopen State Park, Main Beach Parking Lot, Lewes, DE. 19958

RACE DATE & TIME:  Sunday October 15th, 2023 at 9 a.m.

RACE REGISTRATION:

• Pre Race Registration 
  • $25/participant on or before October 14th at 10 pm
• Race-Day Registration
  • $30/participant Race Day Registration from 8 - 9 am race-day

1. ONLINE REGISTRATION through RUNSIGNUP here at this site.
   • "The easiest & most popular way to register for Seashore Strider events.
2. MAIL-IN REGISTRATION...form can be downloaded from SeashoreStriders.com on the Seashore Strider Darby Dash Event Site.   Must be received by Tuesday, October 17th to be guaranteed the race swag.
   Please fill out the form completely & neatly, double checking Age, Gender, Entry Fee Price

RACE COURSE:   3.1m; Flat & Fast at Cape Henlopen State Park...Exact course to be determined...stay tuned.

RACE TIMING:  Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. will be timing the event using the Chronotrack B Chips.

RACE AMENITIES:  Short sleeved shirts to all participants...post-race awards in the park...a running good time.

AWARDS: Overall & Master Male/Female Champion, as well as the top three finishers in 9 5K age groups: 9U, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL: The Seashore Striders have a "No Refund" policy, however we make every possible attempt to please our client with the following options:  1. Transfer to a future Seashore Strider owned event of equal value before the end of the current year.   2. Donate your entry fee to the charity associated with the event.  3. Transfer/Defer to the following year at the same event.  Thank You for your cooperation & understanding as some situations are beyond the control of the Seashore Striders.
