Description
Join us for the Western Family YMCA's 5th Annual Great Human Race 5K at 9am, followed by our International Food Festival at 11am, in partnership with the West Wilmington Seventh Day Adventist Church. Celebrate our extraordinary community through food, music, international performances, and play! All proceeds support the Western Family YMCA’s Annual Campaign.
5k Participants may enter the International Food Festival for free. If you are planning to only attend the International Food Festival, we are accepting cash only at the event. No early registration required. Adults: $20, Children under 18: $5.
The YMCA of Delaware is committed to strengthening local citizens through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As one of the largest non-profit organizations in the state, we are dedicated to serving everyone – regardless of age, income or background. With support from our community, we work every day to help ensure that people from all walks of life can enjoy the Y, especially those who would not be able to experience what we offer without financial support. Bib Pick Up & Registration
Sunday September 13th from 8:00am till 8:55am at the Western YMCA.
Bib Pick Up is in front of the 10 Lane Outdoor Pool.
5K Start Time 9am.

Award ceremony will take place in front of the Western Family YMCA main building, where our International Food Festival will take place.
We will be giving the following awards for completion of the Great Human Race 5k:

Parking
Please arrive early for enough time to park. Participants and vendors may park in the Western Family YMCA parking lot. To find the lots,

Turn into the Western Family YMCA parking lot, located at 2600 Capitol Trail, Newark, DE 19711.

Turn right at the first turn.

Follow the traffic arrows and make a left turn to go towards the back of the parking lot.

We highly recommend parking in front of the Youth Development Center next to the Bubble Pool.
