Humble but Hungry Father's Day 5K

9:00AM EDT - 12:00PM EDT

Update on the Humble but Hungry Father's day 5K

Due to the State of Emergency that has been declared, we have decided to cancel this year's HBH Father's Day 5K.

We are extremely upset about this decision; it certainly wasn't an easy one to make. This race allows us to continue to help those who are in need throughout the year, in many different capacities.  As a small non-profit organization, we rely on this race to not only raise awareness for the less fortunate, but to put ourselves in a better position to serve!!

Even though June 1st is the first day of phase 1 for reopening in Delaware, it would not be enough time to prepare for Father's day, especially with the restrictions that would have to be in place.

As a registered participant, you have the option of allowing your registration fees to serve as a donation to HBH, which would greatly help us out during this time.  You are also welcome to request a refund, by replying to this email.  Please do not request a refund through your registration page, as this would result in a charge to HBH.
Whatever you decide, we appreciate your support and look forward to having you join us for next year's race!

Warm regards,

Humble but Hungry

Join us for the 4th Annual Humble but Hungry 5K on Sunday June 21st 2020.

Humble but Hungry is a non-profit organization that takes a holistic approach to providing services to advancing the lives of those in need, while enhancing the community.  With a focus on scholarships, crisis intervention, life and wellness Humble but Hungry uses an unorthodox approach to meet the needs of those who fit outside the proverbial box.

Since, Humble but Hungry was conceptualized based on a desire to help those in need, all proceeds from this race will be used to fund our community initiatives and support efforts such as serving food to the homeless, hosting a sock drive which also gave us an opportunity to distribute feminine products to those in need, hosting coat drives for the less fortunate and expand our outreach to other areas of need that are often overlooked.  The possibilities are endless and with your assistance Humble but Hungry will continue to impact the community and advance the lives of those in need.

Team Humble but Hungry consists of a group of individuals who have experienced their fair share of obstacles throughout their lives but were able to prevail and turn those trials into triumphs.  In doing so the team members understand the importance of assisting others and providing support to bridge the gap as needs are identified in the community.
