PARKING

Participants will park in the parking garage located in the Merriweather District. There is no fee to park. If arriving during the Discover Downtown Columbia 5K/10K race, please expect delays as the race will be in progress. 

 

BATHROOMS

Porta-potties will be stationed near the start/finish line.

RACE SCHEDULE

9:00 AM – Packet Pick-Up opens

10:00 AM – Race Start

11:00 AM – Awards

RULES
1. Participants must be 10 years and older.

2. Participants must consume the entire donut prior to starting the loop run.

3. Each participant will receive 4 glaze donuts and 1 bottle of water (provided by the race).

4. Pets, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, bicycles, and any other non-official wheeled vehicles are prohibited.

5. Competitors who vomit before they finish the race must complete one penalty lap at the end of the race (immediately after the completion of their 4th lap). Note: Not required to consume additional donuts on the penalty lap. Also vomiting more than once during the race still requires only one penalty lap at the end.

​6. No other rules! No experience necessary! All abilities welcome!​

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the three fastest finishers in both categories:  Male & Female 

 

Participants must accept their award in-person at the conclusion of the race.

Awards will NOT be mailed to participants. Friends of runners may accept an award on your behalf.   

 

SPECTATING

We encourage spectating for this event. The more the merrier. It will be a sight to see! 

 

DISCLAIMER

Registration transfers are not permitted to other RIVAL race events. Race organizers reserve the right to close registration due to capacity limits. Race organizers reserve the right to delay or cancel event due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
