We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thanksgiving Morning, November 28. Please read through this guide to help answer your race week questions.
Packet Pick Up
Q: Can I pick up packets for other people?
A: YES! It will be helpful if you have their custom QR code which will be emailed to them on Monday, November 25.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to pick up my packet?
A: Please bring your custom QR code that will be emailed to you on Monday, November 25 or your photo ID.
Early Packet Pick Up
*If you are planning to pick up for 10 people or more at one of the Early Packet Pick Ups, please send an email to events@runtoledo.com with the names of who you will be picking up, which location you will be picking up from and whether you plan to come on Tuesday or Wednesday and we will have your packets prepared ahead of time.

- 12:00 - 6:30 pm at BOTH Dave's Running Shops in Sylvania and Perrysburg
- Wednesday, November 26
- 12:00 - 6:30 pm at BOTH Dave's Running Shops in Sylvania and Perrysburg
Race Morning Packet Pick Up
- Thursday, November 27
- 7:00 - 8:30 am in the WTOL Parking Lot
Donations
Donations can be brought to early packet pick up or on race morning to the WTOL Parking Lot.
Here is a list of the most requested donations from Cherry Street:
- Travel sized hygiene products (male and female)
- Male and Female Undergarments (new only, please)
- Writing Instruments (pens, pencils, dry erase markers, permanent markers)
- Brooms and Dustpans
- Folders
- Notebooks
- Toilet Paper
Parking
For getting to and from the Turkey Chase 5k start/finish line, the most convenient parking is at the Vistula Parking Garage.
You may also park at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 740 N Superior St., or any other downtown lot, meter or legal parking spot. All parking is at your own risk.
Maritime Plaza — Volunteers Only
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral — Recommended $5 Parking Donation to Church.
Vistula Garage — $5 Event Parking (Ample parking is available in the Vistula Garage. Use the entrance off of Superior and pay as you enter. The gates will be open after the race starts for fast and easy exit.)
Race Day Schedule
7:00 am - Packet pick up opens in WTOL Parking Lot
8:15 am - Santa arrives to Christmas Village in WTOL Parking Lot
8:30 am - Kids Run on Water Street and Packet Pick Up Closes
8:45 am - Start heading over to the Start Line on Summit in front of WTOL
9:00 am - 5k Run/Walk Starts
9:05 am - 1 Mile Walk Starts
10:00 am - Age Group Awards Ready for pick up
10:30 am - Course Closes
