Create or Join a Team
CAPTAIN - Create a Team
Be the first to register for your team. You will Create the team name and pay for the entire team.
1. Click the Sign Up button
2. Enter in all of your bio information or confirm your profile auto-fill, and signoff on the waiver and release.
3. After clicking “Continue”, click the button “Create a New Team”
4. Select a Team Type – Male, Female Open
5. Type in your Team Name.
** Best to be creative and NOT start your team name with “Team” or “The” so your members can more easily find your name.
** if you have more than one team to be identified by the same group ID, think of adding an alpha character or number to differentiate the teams.
** If the team name is already in use by a different group the system will burp and ask you to try again with a different version.
10. Click Continue and complete the rest of the form questions for yourself and end on the payment page where you will pre-pay for the entire team.
** all teams will pay $50 regardless of the number of team members.
** simple team edits can be made through your RunSignup profile. Complex edits – like Team Type, switching out a member, will require reaching out to us through the “Contact Us” form describing the need.
11. Using the “Refer a Friend” link to your team members can remind them to complete their own entries. REMEMBER to share the exact spelling of your team name with your members.
TEAM MEMBER – Join a Team
1. Click the Sign Up button
2. Enter in all of your bio information or confirm your profile auto-fill, and signoff on the waiver and release.
3. After clicking “Continue”, click the button “Join a Team”
4. Select the group/team you would like to join from the drop down menu, confirm all of the details and click “Continue”
5. Click Continue and complete the rest of the form questions for yourself and end on the payment page where you will see that the team-group pre-pay is already in place – no $$ owed!
