The Ditto Dash takes place at Ditto Landing in Huntsville, Alabama along the Tennessee River on Saturday, September 19. Race-day check-in begins at 6AM and the race begins at 8AM.
Yes, a parent or legal guardian must register racers under 18 so the parent/guardian can sign the race waiver.
No race-day registration will be available for the Ditto Dash. Please sign-up before registration closes on September 15th!

Yes. Participants may register as an individual competitor or a relay team.
The registration price applies to each individual registering to participate in the Ditto Dash, whether they will be completing one leg of the race as part of a team, or both legs of the race as a solo racer.

Late packet pickup will be available at Ditto Landing's Kingston Pavilion on race day, beginning at 6AM. We recommend picking up your packet on the 16th to improve your race day experience.
Yes. If you can not make it to Packet Pick-up during official hours, a friend or family member may pick-up your packet for you. Please use the Contact Us form to let us know who will be picking up your packet, so we may make this accommodation.
The starting line for the race is located at Ditto Landing's East Harbor area. Shuttling services will be available between the starting line and the finish line, located at Ditto Landing's Kingston Pavilion.
Kingston Pavilion is located within walking distance of Ditto Landing's main parking area, next to the marina.
Free parking is located at Ditto Landing's main parking area next to the marina. This is within walking distance of the race day check-in area and finish line.
The course will have two water stations. A water station will be located at the starting area, which also serves as the transition area between the paddle and running portions. A second station will be located roughly halfway through the running leg of the race.
Restrooms will be available at both the start and finish areas of the race.
The paddle segment, beginning at East Harbor's Boat Ramp, takes place before the run segment, which begins directly across from boat ramp.
There is no time limit to complete the race. Our support and safety volunteers will be there to support your adventure until you complete it, both on water and on land.
Racers may bring their own kayak or request a rental kayak when signing up for the race, which is included in the registration price. Kayak rentals include a PFD and paddle. Racers may alternatively bring and use another paddlecraft of their choosing to participate in the race.
Yes! All racers, whether bringing their own paddlecraft or renting a kayak, must wear a PFD at all times while operating a paddlecraft on the water.
Event organizers will monitor weather conditions and communicate any schedule or course changes as necessary. Organizers may delay or alter the race for weather or other unforeseen circumstances, but the race will continue rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather that creates an imminent safety risk, event organizers will cancel the event.
Absolutely. Spectators are encouraged to attend the finish-line celebration at Kingston Pavilion.
We love your dogs, but because the trails are narrow, we request you do not complete the 5K portion of the race with your dog. Dogs are welcome participants during the kayaking portion of the race!
In-line skates, bicycles, unauthorized vehicles, and unregistered racers are prohibited on the course. There also is no smoking or other substance use permitted on the course. The use of headphones is STRONGLY discouraged.
Any participant breaking one of these rules will be removed from the course and will not receive finisher’s amenities. These rules are due to our insurance policy and are set for your safety and the safety of the other racers on the course.
Yes, all participants will receive a custom race shirt in their race packet, along with other swag!
Yes. Awards information and categories will be announced prior to race day.
