Dear Friend, I am taking part in the 2nd annual Feed a Veteran 5K race to feed the 500&#43; homeless veterans in DC. 100% of my race entry and donations directly feed homeless veterans through the non-profit: United Soldiers and Sailors of America (USASOA), which has been serving the DC community for over 10 years. With your donation, YOU can make a difference to alleviate hunger with our homeless veterans, helping them get off the streets into transitional housing. This Veterans Day weekend I will run a 5K and afterwards I will pack the hot meals (2 sandwiches and soup), that will go into DC that day to feed these homeless Veterans. I am trying to raise $96, or the equivalent of 6 hot meals. Please join me in the fight against homeless veterans this Veteran&#39;s Day weekend!   Thank you for considering a donation!
