Did you know that many public schools receive from the state and federal government between $12-$15K per student per year to cover the expenses of providing an education and extra-curricular activities for students enrolled in their district? 
So, in order to even come close to being able to offer the same level of opportunities it would require a private school to charge a fee of $12-$15K per student for tuition. For most families, this is far beyond their financial capacity, especially in 4-6 member households.
The result of this reality is that tuition rates at private schools are significantly lower than what it actually costs to educate each child. And since there is no way around operational expenses being decreased (because books are going to cost what books are going to cost, the &#34;cuts&#34; in the budget are made in the area of teacher salaries and benefits. As a result, teachers at most private schools are earning between 10%-25% less than if they were working in the same position at a public school. 
So how do we close the gap to retain experienced teachers at private schools?
By inviting others to support Christian education as donors. (Similar to teachers who go on mission in a foreign country--supporters are needed to keep missionaries on the mission field. The same is true of Christian schools state-side.)
At present, ACCS is in need of fundraising approximately $220K per year to be able to increase teacher benefits to be within 10% of public school educators. At this time, we are just $75K away from meeting that goal. Your contribution to the 4th of July Freedom Fun Run campaign will get us there. 
Did you know that if most students raised $1,000 by connecting with his/her family and friends, inviting them to give toward this campaign, we&#39;d meet our goal?

A gift, not matter the size, will help us retain experienced teachers, which will in turn benefit every family at our school, helping ACCS to have Kingdom-level impact in our community and beyond.
