Thank you for supporting our runners during the 14th annual Head Over Teal taking place during September&#39;s GYN Cancer Awareness Month!  If you would like to join us as a runner please click <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/AL/Hoover/HeadOverTeal5Kand10K" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here!</a>
LCBF focuses on early detection research, awareness education, and support services for GYN cancer patients and families. Since our founding in 2009, we have:
<ul><li>provided emotional, educational, and direct financial support to thousands of GYN cancer patients, survivors, and co-survivors </li><li>educated tens of thousands of Alabamians on GYN cancer prevention, signs &amp; symptoms, and risk factors</li><li>granted more than $650,000 for ovarian cancer early detection research</li></ul>

“I’m very grateful to LCBF not only for the financial assistance but for also letting me know there are a lot of people cheering me on and walking with me through this challenging time.  I was laid off a day before my surgery and then having to drive a long way for my treatments was burdensome.  It has been a relief to be able to use the financial assistance I received. I can’t thank you enough.&#34;
 
&#34;The financial burden of fighting cancer for 3 years while living on a limited fixed income has been devastating to all aspects of everyday life. Daily life becomes a basic choice between the barest of substance or the required medical needs. ANY financial aid during times like this is a TRUE BLESSING.&#34;
