Please support my efforts to help Aidan&#39;s Heart Foundation protect young hearts!
Aidan&#39;s Heart Foundation is committed to providing awareness, education, and support to the communities of the southeast Pennsylvania region to create heart-safe communities for youth regarding the prevention of and/or response to Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Since 2010, Aidan&#39;s Heart Foundation has screened over 2,160 young hearts, placed over 140 AEDs in local schools and youth athletic organizations, and taught over 11,250 students and hundreds of coaches, parents, and community members the simple skills of CPR and using an AED.
The foundation passed PA Act 35, Aidan&#39;s Law, which helps to make sure our schools are protecting students from SCA, as well as SB375, which requires AEDs to be readily available at PIAA athletic events, creates statewide standards for AED placement and maintenance, expands CPR and AED education, and provides funding to help schools purchase and replace AEDs.I would be grateful for your support as we work to continue AHF&#39;s mission in the community!
