Proceeds from the race will benefit the American Diabetes Association® (ADA). For 85 years, the ADA’s mission has been to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. This chronic disease is one of the fastest growing in the world, with 136 million Americans living with diabetes or prediabetes and a new diagnosis occurring every 26 seconds. Thus, the ADA’s mission has never been more urgent, and we’re not stopping until we end diabetes once and for all.
