The Heart of Alabama Food Bank serves an enormous footprint, sourcing and distributing nutritious food across 35 Alabama counties, including the entire River Region. Twelve counties receive food directly from the Montgomery headquarters, while the remaining counties are served through partner food banks in Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Dothan, and Selma. This hub‑and‑affiliate network means your donation reaches both urban centers and rural communities—especially those in the Black Belt that face higher barriers to food access.
