Description
Our cause is the Boone County Imagination Library. Our goal is to put a book, monthly, in the hands of every child in Boone County from birth to age 5. There is phenomenal power of books in the homes for preschool children. Reading the books to the children extends their education on average by 2 years! A child that has been read to in the preschool years come into kindergarten well advanced over children that have not had someone read to them. We want every child to get the best education they can and this program helps greatly with proven results.
Our program is run through the Dolly Parton Foundation Imagination Library. Her Foundation has spread this through out the United Sates and across the world. We appreciate your support of our local Imagination Library and welcome you to our July 4th Bang for the Books!
