REGISTRATION OPENS; 7:00 AM
SALUTE TO THE FALLEN; 7:45 AM
5K RUN/WALK BEGINS; 8:00 AM
KIDS FUN RUN; 9:00 AM
We are honored to host the Second Annual memorial run in honor of fallen Agent Manuel Alvarez. Agent Alvarez was killed in a motorcycle accident on August 11, 2016 while performing his duties on the Tohono O’odham Indian Reservation. He and another agent were conducting dirt bike partrol of the rugged land when their motorcycles collided, causing Agent Alvarez to suffer fatal injuries.
Agent Alvarez had served with the United States Border Patrol for 13 years and is survived by his wife and four children. Please join us in honoring Manny and all others that that have paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting our nations borders. All funds raised during this event will go toward BPF Family Services Programs.
