Honor the Fallen 5k

Welcome to the 5th annual Honor the Fallen 5K Run/Walk. This 5K is organized and hosted by Arnold Air Society, an honorary service organization at the University of Arizona and Silver Wings, a professional organization. This club is made up of Air Force ROTC cadets dedicated to community service. Each year, AAS and SW hold the Honor the Fallen 5K in order to remember and honor fallen heroes, as well as a fundraiser for local community service organizations. The race is held at the USS Arizona Mall Memorial, which sets an atmosphere of remembrance and gratitude to those fallen heroes who came before. We look forward to seeing you at this year's event, as we run to honor the fallen.

Not only will your registration for the 5K get you a race t-shirt, but it will help support a great organization as well. This year, our 5K will be fundraising for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), a non-profit veteran service organization that assists families who are grieving the loss of a military loved one. TAPS provides a variety of programs to families nationally and worldwide and has helped over 85,000 surviving families since 1994. Money raised and donated at this year's 5K will help support the TAPS mission of serving our fallen heroes.
