Portions of your race registration supports the Midway Shelter of Alameda, but any addition donation is passed on at 100% to the shelter and all those funds stay right here in Alameda.
The Alameda Homeless Network is a non-profit organization responsible for the Midway Shelter property. The Network partners with Building Futures with Women and Children; together they operate the Midway Shelter. The Network raises a significant amount of private funds to keep the Midway Shelter operating.
