2025 Pre-Registration Plymouth Rock n Run

Our cause
 
The Plymouth Rock 'n' Run event donates a portion of its proceeds to the Reeve-Irvine Research Center (RIRC) at the University of California, Irvine, via the UCI Foundation. RIRC is dedicated to basic scientific research to discover novel approaches to improve recovery of function after spinal cord injury (SCI). Additionally, RIRC seeks to engage investigators throughout California and the entire world in advancing scientific knowledge through sharing results, strategies, and communication. Plymouth Rock 'n' Run is proud to have been a supporter of RIRC and its important efforts since the race's inception in 2008. About the event 
 
Plymouth Rock 'n' Run had its humble beginnings in 2008 when a group of volunteer students and community members decided to host a 5K race on New Year's Day to support spinal-cord injury research at RIRC. Later that same year, the race was re-imagined as a Thanksgiving Day event and became the Plymouth Plymouth Rock 'n' Run (PRNR) at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim. The rest, as they say, is history. Both the event and its cause resonated with members of the local communities, and PRNR quickly grew into a beloved Thanksgiving Day tradition for many, attracting participants of all ages and abilities and gaining support from volunteer groups at local high schools and other organizations throughout the area.
 
Since its inaugural running in 2008, PRNR grew from an initial field of 400 participants to over 2000. Over $1MIL have been donated to RIRC over the years.
