Experiencing Tevis - whether as a rider, crew, spectator, volunteer, or lover of the ride - is a life-changing moment that finds its place in hearts, minds and in our memories. We are all responsible for keeping the Tevis Trail open for perpetuity. As stewards of this remarkable and historical Sierra route, we need to support the efforts of the Western States Trail Foundation in its endeavor to maintain, develop and preserve this trail, along with sustaining the vision and inspiration it symbolizes for all of us.
Your donations for the 2020 Virtual Ride helped to fund the drilling and installation of the new well at the Chicken Hawk campground and vet check location. This will ensure that we always have adequate water supplies for our troughs, trucks and tanks which supply water to both our Tevis Educational Ride and Tevis Cup Riders and Horses.
The 2021 Donations helped to fund the trail improvement project for the Granite Chief Wilderness Area. The course will be re-bedded and re-routed in places as necessary to avoid the bogs in upcoming years.
The 2022 and 2023 Donations will be used to assist with trail repairs, maintenance and expenses related to restoration work from the Mosquito Fire and weather damages from this impactful winter season.
We thank you heartily for any additional support you are able to provide.
