STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math
STEAM Wheel is a hands on, 15 week educational program for 3rd-5th graders intended to spark creativity, curiosity, and connection. Led by local professionals and community partners each student rotates through three different STEAM classes, each lasting five weeks.
These engaging experiences include topics such as robotics, computer programming, dance, visual and performing arts, chess, and more — teaching students to: build problem-solving and critical thinking skills, collaborate and work in teams, apply classroom learning in real-world, hands-on ways, and discover personal passions and strengths.
